When Doren and I left OKC on Monday we really didn't know what was going to come out of the next 10 days until we started to head to Florida. For me, I didn't really have any preconceived ideas I was just hoping we were going to breeze through it. But, let me just tell ya, it has been a whirlwind. We went to go see my Grandma in Louisiana for about three days. That was almost too long. I love my grandma but she is definitely one of those people who worries... about everything. And she also says the "N" word occasionally and she doesn't have WIFI or know what it is. So on Thursday we headed up to Franklin, TN to see my Great Aunt and Uncle staying ahead of the storms that were headed that way. Growing up I didn't see them except during holidays or fishing trips so I really didn't know that much about them other than they were family. So on the first night we talked about what we were doing, our story with YWAM, our mutual love of France, our church and Florida. We have been talking a lot and it has been nice to actually get to know my great aunt. Last night was a once a month Healing service(emotional and physical) that they do and it was just so nice to be there. At the end they all came around us and prayed for our journey to Florida and it was so encouraging. We were so grateful for all the words they gave us and it definitely has set a fire under feet to see what God is going to do there. As for the rest of our stay in Franklin we might go to the battlefield, avoid Nashville and country music like the plague and just enjoy my relatives amazing hospitality.
